The COVID-19 Reflections tree planting and flower bed is in the walled garden in full sun and was the site of soft fruit plants, such as apricot, in the 19th century. An artist has been appointed to work with the community to create an artwork for the wall to complement the planting, provide year-round colour and connect the outside with the activities inside the Arts Centre. It will aid quiet contemplation and reflection for those visitors who have either been affected or have lost friends and relatives to the pandemic and enhance the environment in Castle Park.
